North Carolina High School Baseball - Polk County loses to Chase

March 15, 2023: Columbus, NC 28722

In Wednesday's league game, the visiting Chase Trojans baseball team scored a nice 14-2 victory over the Polk County Wolverines.

The Trojans (6-2) will now prepare for their game against East Rutherford (Forest City, NC). The Cavaliers go into the Mountain Foothills Seven 2A game with a 7-0 record. In their last game, East Rutherford overcame R-S Central (Rutherfordton, NC), 7-2, in a league game.

The Wolverines (3-5) will now prepare for their game against Hendersonville (Hendersonville, NC). The Bearcats go into the Mountain Foothills Seven 2A game with a 4-2 record. In their last game, Hendersonville overcame North Henderson (Hendersonville, NC), 4-2, in a non-league game.
