The West Laurens Raiders baseball team scored 13 runs and limited the host Howard Huskies to 1 in the Raiders league victory on Wednesday.
The Raiders (10-3) will now prepare for their match against Baldwin (Milledgeville, GA). The Braves go into the 4A Area 2 match with a 9-4 record. In their last match, Baldwin ran past Griffin (Griffin, GA), 17-1, in a league match.
The Huskies (4-6) will now prepare for their match against Westside (Macon, GA). The Seminoles go into the 4A Area 2 match with a 4-6 record. In their last match, Westside was overwhelmed by Perry (Perry, GA), 22-0, in a league match.
