In Wednesday's non-league game, the visiting Cibola Cougars baseball team scored a tight 10-9 victory over the West Mesa Mustangs.
The Cougars (4-1) will now prepare for their game against Rio Rancho (Rio Rancho, NM). The Rams go into the non-league game with a 5-2 record.
The Mustangs (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Manzano (Albuquerque, NM). The Monarchs go into the non-league game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Manzano was edged by Albuquerque (Albuquerque, NM), 8-7, in a non-league game.
