In Wednesday's non-league battle, the visiting East Duplin Panthers soccer squad scored a close 2-0 triumph over the West Carteret Patriots.
The Panthers (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Richlands (Richlands, NC). The Wildcats come into the non-league battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Richlands nudged Wilmington Christian Academy (Wilmington, NC), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
