The Buffalo Gap Bison (Swoope, VA) softball routed the visiting Nelson County Governors (Lovingston, VA), 13-3 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Bison (2-0) will now prepare for their bout against Mountain View (Quicksburg, VA). The Generals go into the non-league bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, Mountain View was routed by Stuarts Draft (Stuarts Draft, VA), 19-0, in a league bout.
The Governors now possess a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Appomattox County for a non-league bout on Friday, March 17. Nelson County will confront a Raiders squad coming off a 12-3 non-league loss to Amherst County (Amherst, VA). The Raiders record now stands at 0-1.
