Foothill Falcons (Pleasanton, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Livermore Cowboys (Livermore, CA), 7-6 in a league challenge.

The Falcons now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Granada for a challenge on Friday, March 17. Foothill will face a Matadors squad coming off a 4-2 league win over Dublin (Dublin, CA). The Matadors record now stands at 4-0.

With the loss, Livermore falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Cowboys travel to Dublin (Dublin, CA) to face the Gaels in a challenge on Friday, March 24. The Gaels enter the challenge with a record of 0-1.
