Point Loma Pointers (San Diego, CA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the visiting Pacific Ridge Firebird (Carlsbad, CA), 11-7 in a non-league battle.

The Pointers now have a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Helix for a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 21. Point Loma will clash with a Highlanders squad coming off a 6-5 non-league loss to San Diego (San Diego, CA). The Highlanders record now stands at 0-2.

In their next game, the Firebird clash with the Canyon Crest Academy Ravens (San Diego, CA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, March 17. Pacific Ridge will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Ravens come into the battle with a 4-2 record after their 13-11 non-league loss to Mt. Carmel (San Diego, CA).
