In Wednesday's non-league battle, the host Pinewood Prep Panthers soccer squad scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Porter-Gaud Cyclones.
The Panthers (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against First Baptist School (Charleston, SC). The Hurricanes come into the SCISA AAA Region II battle with a 3-1 record.
The Cyclones (3-5) will now prepare for their battle against Laurence Manning Academy (Manning, SC). The Swampcats come into the SCISA AAA Region II battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Laurence Manning Academy was nudged by Camden Military (Camden, SC), 7-0, in a league battle.
