Midland Valley Mustangs (Graniteville, SC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Airport Eagles (West Columbia, SC), 15-0 in a league challenge.

The Mustangs now own a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Richland Northeast for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 16. Midland Valley will battle a Cavaliers squad coming off a 21-6 non-league loss to Crestwood (Sumter, SC). The Cavaliers record now stands at 0-4.

With the loss, Airport falls to 5-1 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Irmo (Columbia, SC) to battle the Yellowjackets in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 16. The Yellowjackets enter the challenge with a record of 1-5. Irmo lost 14-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Chapin (Chapin, SC)
