In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Bay Tigers (Bay St. Louis, MS) softball team overwhelmed the host St. Patrick Fighting Irish (Biloxi, MS), by a margin of 7-0.
With the triumph, Bay moves its record to 2-3 on the year. The Tigers host Sumrall (Sumrall, MS) to play the Bobcats in a non-league contest on Friday, March 17. The Bobcats come into the contest with a record of 8-3.
In their next game, the Fighting Irish play the Gulf Breeze Dolphins (Gulf Breeze, FL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, March 18. St. Patrick will attempt to move on its 9-7 season record. The Dolphins come into the contest with a 9-0 record after their 5-3 non-league win over Germantown (Madison, MS).
