In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Buckhorn Bucks (New Market, AL) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Lincoln County Falcons (Fayetteville, TN), by a margin of 11-4.

With the triumph, Buckhorn moves its record to 6-4 on the year. The Bucks travel to Tuscaloosa County (Northport, AL) to play the Wildcats in a non-league contest on Wednesday, March 15. The Wildcats come into the contest with a record of 12-6. Tuscaloosa County won 12-0 in their recent non-league contest against Nashville Christian (Nashville, TN)

In their next game, the Falcons play the Lawrence County Wildcats (Lawrenceburg, TN) in a 3A District 8 contest, on Monday, March 20. Lincoln County will attempt to move on its 5-1 season record. The Wildcats come into the contest with a 1-1 record after their 13-4 league win over Spring Hill (Columbia, TN).
