In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Hoover Buccaneers (Hoover, AL) softball team the host Helena Huskies (Helena, AL), by a margin of 10-8.

With the triumph, Hoover moves its record to 12-3 on the year. The Buccaneers host Thompson (Alabaster, AL) to play the Warriors in a 7A Area 5 contest on Tuesday, March 21.
