In Friday's league challenge, the Manteo Redskins (Manteo, NC) baseball squad the visiting Holmes Aces (Edenton, NC), by a final score of 11-6.

With the win, Manteo upgrades its record to 3-5 on the season. The Redskins travel to First Flight (Kill Devil Hills, NC) to encounter the Nighthawks in a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A challenge on Tuesday, March 19. The Nighthawks come into the challenge with a record of 3-1. First Flight won 8-0 in their recent league challenge against Northeastern (Elizabeth City, NC)
