North Carolina High School Baseball - Lincoln Charter defeats Mountain Island Charter

The Lincoln Charter Eagles (Denver, NC) baseball trounced the host Mountain Island Charter Raptors (Mt. Holly, NC), 6-0 in Friday's league contest.

Coming up next, the Eagles play the Bradford Prep Bears (Charlotte, NC) in a Catawba Shores Athletic 1A/2A contest, on Monday, March 18. Lincoln Charter will attempt to better on its 4-4 season record. The Bears enter the contest with a 0-3 record after their 15-1 league loss to Christ the King (Huntersville, NC).

The Raptors now sport a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Christ the King for a Catawba Shores Athletic 1A/2A contest on Tuesday, March 19. Mountain Island Charter will play a Crusaders squad coming off a 15-1 league win over Bradford Prep (Charlotte, NC). The Crusaders record now stands at 5-2.
