Spectators at Friday's league battle between the Randolph-Clay Red Devils (Cuthbert, GA) and the host Quitman County Hornets (Georgetown, GA), saw Randolph-Clay's baseball squad beat Quitman County by a margin of 16-6.

Coming up next, the Red Devils play the Monroe Golden Tornadoes (Albany, GA) in a non-league battle, on Monday, March 18. Randolph-Clay will attempt to better on its 1-6 season record. The Golden Tornadoes enter the battle with a 3-6 record after their 13-0 league loss to Thomasville (Thomasville, GA).

The Hornets now sport a 0-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Terrell County for a 1A D-II Area 1 battle on Monday, March 18. Quitman County will play a Greenwave squad coming off a 26-13 league win over Southwest Georgia STEM Charter (Shellman, GA). The Greenwave record now stands at 3-4.
