The Woodburn Bulldogs crushed the host Springfield Millers baseball team by a count of 13-7 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Bulldogs now possess a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Salem for a non-league bout on Saturday, March 16. Woodburn will face a Vikings team coming off a 17-1 league loss to Lebanon (Lebanon, OR). The Vikings record now stands at 0-2.
Next, the Millers face the South Albany Redhawks (Albany, OR) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, March 20. Springfield will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Redhawks enter the bout with a 1-2 record after their 23-2 non-league loss to Roosevelt (Portland, OR).
