Valley City Hi-Liners (Valley City, ND) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Beulah Goldiggers (Beulah, ND), 58-54 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Valley City upgrades its record to 16-14 on the season. The Hi-Liners travel to Killdeer (Killdeer, ND) to play the Cowboys in a non-league bout on Saturday, March 16. The Cowboys go into the bout with a record of 17-10. Killdeer won 40-38 in their recent non-league bout against Des Lacs-Burlington (Des Lacs, ND)
Next up, the Goldiggers play the Des Lacs-Burlington Lakers (Des Lacs, ND) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, March 16. Beulah will attempt to upgrade on its 20-7 season record. The Lakers go into the bout with a 22-5 record after their 40-38 non-league loss to Killdeer (Killdeer, ND).
