In Friday's league battle, the visiting Hayward Farmers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Mt. Eden Monarchs.

The Farmers (3-5) will now prepare for their battle against Tennyson (Hayward, CA). The Lancers come into the West Alameda County battle with a 1-9 record. In their last battle, Tennyson lost by Mission San Jose (Fremont, CA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Monarchs clash with the Arroyo Dons (San Lorenzo, CA) in a West Alameda County battle, on Tuesday, March 19. Mt. Eden will attempt to advance on its 0-5 season record. The Dons come into the battle with a 9-8 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to College Park (Pleasant Hill, CA).
