Butler Bears (Louisville, KY) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Franklin County Flyers (Frankfort, KY), 39-36 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Butler upgrades its record to 28-9 on the season. The Bears travel to McCracken County (Paducah, KY) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Saturday, March 16. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 31-5. McCracken County won 47-41 in their recent non-league bout against Bowling Green (Bowling Green, KY)
