The Fannin County Rebels soccer team scored 6 points and limited the visiting Gordon Central Warriors to 1 in the Rebels league victory on Friday.

Next, the Rebels face the Murray County Indians (Chatsworth, GA) in a 2A Region 7 contest, on Wednesday, March 20. Fannin County will attempt to better on its 6-4 season record. The Indians enter the contest with a 5-6 record after their 3-1 league loss to Rockmart (Rockmart, GA).

The Warriors now have a 2-9 record. They take the field next when they host Model for a 2A Region 7 contest on Monday, March 18. Gordon Central will face a Blue Devils team coming off a 10-0 league win over North Murray (Chatsworth, GA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 12-1.
