The Roanoke-Benson Rockets baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting St. Bede Bruins to 4 in the Rockets league victory on Friday.
The Rockets (1-0) will now prepare for their match against El Paso-Gridley (El Paso, IL). The Titans go into the non-league match with a 0-0 record.
The Bruins (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Newark (Newark, IL). The Norsemen go into the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Newark was overwhelmed by Amboy (Amboy, IL), 15-5, in a non-league match.
