Apex Cougars (Apex, NC) boosters exited the stadium content Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Panther Creek Catamounts (Cary, NC), 18-1 in a league battle.

The Cougars now own a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they host Middle Creek for a Southwest Wake battle on Tuesday, March 19. Apex will clash with a Mustangs squad coming off a 14-5 non-league win over Northwest Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-2.

In their next game, the Catamounts clash with the Carrboro Jaguars (Carrboro, NC) in a non-league battle, on Monday, March 18. Panther Creek will attempt to advance on its 1-4 season record. The Jaguars come into the battle with a 0-2 record after their 15-7 non-league loss to Greensboro Day School (Greensboro, NC).
