The Battle Mountain Huskies lacrosse team scored 16 points and held the visiting Vail Mountain Gore Rangers to 4 in the Huskies league win on Friday.

The Huskies (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Aspen (Aspen, CO). The Skiers go into the 4A Western match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Aspen prevailed over Crested Butte (Crested Butte, CO), 10-2, in a non-league match.

The Gore Rangers (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Summit (Frisco, CO). The Tigers go into the 4A Western match with a 0-3 record. In their last match, Summit was overwhelmed by Eagle Valley (Gypsum, CO), 8-7, in a league match.
