Western Guilford Hornets (Greensboro, NC) boosters exited the stadium content Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad nip the host Southeast Guilford Falcons (Greensboro, NC), 13-12 in a non-league battle.
The Hornets now own a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they host Mount Tabor for a non-league battle on Monday, March 18. Western Guilford will clash with a Spartans squad coming off a 17-1 league loss to Reagan (Pfafftown, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 1-5.
In their next game, the Falcons clash with the Southern Alamance Patriots (Graham, NC) in a non-league battle, on Monday, March 18. Southeast Guilford will attempt to advance on its 5-3 season record. The Patriots come into the battle with a 0-6 record after their 11-4 league loss to Seaforth (Pittsboro, NC).
