The crowd at Friday's league test between the Catawba Ridge Copperheads (Fort Mill, SC) and the visiting Lancaster Bruins (Lancaster, SC), saw Catawba Ridge's soccer squad triumph over Lancaster by a margin of 7-1.

The Copperheads now sport a 9-2 record. They play next when they travel to Indian Land for a AAAA Region 3 test on Tuesday, March 19. Catawba Ridge will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 8-1 league win over South Pointe (Rock Hill, SC). The Warriors record now stands at 5-4.

With the loss, Lancaster drops to 3-6 on the season. The Bruins host York (York, SC) to meet the Cougars in a AAAA Region 3 test on Monday, March 18. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 2-7. York won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against York Prep (Rock Hill, SC)
