In Friday's league battle, the visiting Greer Middle College Blazers soccer squad scored a close 2-1 win over the Chesnee Eagles.
The Blazers (5-2) will now prepare for their battle against Landrum (Landrum, SC). The Cardinals go into the AA Region 1 battle with a 3-3 record.
The Eagles (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against Spartanburg Christian Academy (Spartanburg, SC). The Warriors go into the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Spartanburg Christian Academy was nudged by Union County (Union, SC), 7-0, in a non-league battle.
