Woodruff Wolverines (Woodruff, SC) fans were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Chester Cyclones (Chester, SC), 10-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Wolverines confront the Emerald Vikings (Greenwood, SC) in a AAA Region 4 challenge, on Wednesday, March 20. Woodruff will attempt to better on its 4-4 season record. The Vikings enter the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 4-0 non-league loss to Dixie (Due West, SC).

The Cyclones now have a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they host Union County for a AAA Region 4 challenge on Tuesday, March 19. Chester will confront a Yellowjackets team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Clinton (Clinton, SC). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 2-3.
