The Alexandria Trojans softball team scored 17 runs and limited the host David Thibodaux Bulldogs to 6 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Alexandria moves its record to 11-9 on the year. The Trojans travel to LaSalle (Olla, LA) to play the Tigers in a non-league game on Saturday, March 16. The Tigers come into the game with a record of 7-6. LaSalle won 10-0 in their recent league game against Montgomery (Montgomery, LA)

In their next game, the Bulldogs play the St. Thomas More Cougars (Lafayette, LA) in a 4A District 4 game, on Tuesday, March 19. David Thibodaux will attempt to move on its 5-10 season record. The Cougars come into the game with a 18-2 record after their 4-3 non-league loss to Sterlington (Sterlington, LA).
