California High School Softball - Arleta bounces Monroe

The Arleta Mustangs (Arleta, CA) softball routed the visiting Monroe Vikings (North Hills, CA), 21-0 in Friday's league bout.

The Mustangs (4-4) will now prepare for their bout against Village Christian (Sun Valley, CA). The Crusaders go into the non-league bout with a 3-3 record. In their last bout, Village Christian toppled Heritage Christian (Northridge, CA), 3-2, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Vikings play the Grant Lancers (Van Nuys, CA) in a East Valley contest, on Wednesday, March 20. Monroe will attempt to move on its 0-5 season record. The Lancers come into the contest with a 1-4 record after their 21-0 league loss to Chavez (San Fernando, CA).
