North Carolina High School Softball - Ashley falls to South Brunswick

March 15, 2024: Southport, NC 28461

In Friday's league outing, the host South Brunswick Cougars softball team scored a nice 9-0 win over the Ashley Screaming Eagle.

Coming up next, the Cougars encounter the Laney Buccaneers (Wilmington, NC) in a Mideastern 3A/4A outing, on Tuesday, March 19. South Brunswick will attempt to upgrade on its 7-1 season record. The Buccaneers enter the outing with a 5-1 record after their 8-0 league win over North Brunswick (Leland, NC).

In their next game, the Screaming Eagle play the New Bern Bears (New Bern, NC) in a non-league contest, on Monday, March 18. Ashley will attempt to move on its 0-7 season record. The Bears come into the contest with a 4-1 record after their 18-0 league win over Northside - Jacksonville (Jacksonville, NC).
