The De Kalb Bears got by the host Atlanta Rabbits softball squad by a final score of 6-5 in Friday's league battle.

The Bears (13-2) will now prepare for their battle against Queen City (Queen City, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 3A Region II District 14 battle with a 12-2 record. In their last battle, Queen City nudged Redwater (Redwater, TX), 10-0, in a league battle.

The Rabbits now possess a 17-6 record. They play next when they travel to New Boston for a 3A Region II District 14 battle on Tuesday, March 19. Atlanta will meet a Lions squad coming off a 16-0 league win over Pewitt (Omaha, TX). The Lions record now stands at 7-9.
