Boerne Greyhounds (Boerne, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Bandera BULLDOGS (Bandera, TX), 9-1 in a league challenge.

The Greyhounds now own a 8-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Davenport for a 4A Region IV District 27 challenge on Tuesday, March 19. Boerne will battle a Wolves squad coming off a 7-1 league loss to Fredericksburg (Fredericksburg, TX). The Wolves record now stands at 9-9.

With the loss, Bandera falls to 11-10 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Wimberley (Wimberley, TX) to battle the Texans in a 4A Region IV District 27 challenge on Tuesday, March 19. The Texans enter the challenge with a record of 15-7. Wimberley won 4-0 in their recent league challenge against Canyon Lake (Fischer, TX)
