California High School Softball - Merced bounces Buhach Colony

The Merced Bears routed the visiting Buhach Colony Thunder softball squad by a final score of 14-4 in Friday's league battle.

The Bears (5-4) will now prepare for their battle against Clovis West (Fresno, CA). The Golden Eagles go into the non-league battle with a 5-5 record. In their last battle, Clovis West was routed by Arroyo Grande (Arroyo Grande, CA), 12-7, in a non-league battle.

The Thunder now possess a 3-6 record. They play next when they host Hilmar for a non-league battle on Monday, March 18. Buhach Colony will meet a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 15-1 non-league win over Downey (Modesto, CA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 5-5.
