West Mesa Mustangs (Albuquerque, NM) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Del Norte Knights (Albuquerque, NM), 11-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Mustangs now own a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Pius X for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 16. West Mesa will face a Sartans squad coming off a 13-3 non-league win over Espanola Valley (Espanola, NM). The Sartans record now stands at 5-1.

With the loss, Del Norte falls to 2-6 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Espanola Valley (Espanola, NM) to face the Sundevils in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 16. The Sundevils enter the challenge with a record of 3-5. Espanola Valley lost 13-3 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM)
