North Carolina High School Softball - Fike thwarted by South Johnston

The Fike Demons softball team (Wilson, NC), was routed 15-0 in Friday's league test with the host South Johnston Trojans (Four Oaks, NC)

Coming up next, the Trojans clash with the C.B. Aycock Golden Falcons (Pikeville, NC) in a Quad County 3A test, on Tuesday, March 19. South Johnston will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record. The Golden Falcons come into the test with a 2-5 record after their 13-1 non-league loss to Southern Nash (Bailey, NC).

The Demons (2-5) will now prepare for their test against Smithfield-Selma (Smithfield, NC). The Spartans come into the Quad County 3A test with a 1-6 record. In their last test, Smithfield-Selma overcame Southeast Raleigh (Raleigh, NC), 16-10, in a non-league test.
