Harnett Central Trojans (Angier, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Westover Wolverines (Fayetteville, NC), 18-0 in a league challenge.

The Trojans now sport a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Willow Spring for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 18. Harnett Central will face a Storm squad coming off a 17-0 league win over Southeast Raleigh (Raleigh, NC). The Storm record now stands at 6-2.

With the loss, Westover falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Western Harnett (Lillington, NC) to face the Eagles in a All American 3A/4A challenge on Tuesday, March 19. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 4-3. Western Harnett won 11-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Chatham Central (Bear Creek, NC)
