Spectators at Friday's league match between the Prosper Eagles (Prosper, TX) and the visiting Boyd Broncos (McKinney, TX), witnessed Prosper's softball squad tip Boyd by a count of 4-2.

The Eagles now sport a 9-12 record. They play next when they travel to Braswell for a 6A Region I District 5 match on Tuesday, March 19. Prosper will face a Bengals squad coming off a 13-3 league loss to Guyer (Denton, TX). The Bengals record now stands at 8-11.

With the loss, Boyd moves to 6-8 on the season. The Broncos host Rock Hill (Frisco, TX) to face the Blue Hawks in a 6A Region I District 5 match on Friday, March 22. The Blue Hawks go into the match with a record of 8-7.
