California High School Softball - San Marcos knocked off by Oxnard

March 15, 2024: Santa Barbara, CA 93110

In Friday's league contest, the Oxnard Yellowjackets (Oxnard, CA) softball team overwhelmed the host San Marcos Royals (Santa Barbara, CA), by a margin of 12-4.

With the triumph, Oxnard moves its record to 9-3 on the year. The Yellowjackets travel to Fillmore (Fillmore, CA) to play the Flashes in a non-league contest on Monday, March 18. The Flashes come into the contest with a record of 7-5. Fillmore 0-0 in their recent non-league contest against Canyon (Canyon Country, CA)

In their next game, the Royals play the Pacifica Tritons (Oxnard, CA) in a Channel contest, on Tuesday, March 19. San Marcos will attempt to move on its 8-4 season record. The Tritons come into the contest with a 2-10 record after their 14-2 league loss to Ventura (Ventura, CA).
