California High School Softball - Rio Hondo Prep can't hold off Providence

The Rio Hondo Prep Kares softball team (Arcadia, CA), was tipped 5-4 in Friday's league test with the host Providence Pioneers (Burbank, CA)

Coming up next, the Pioneers encounter the Chadwick Dolphins (Palos Verdes Peninsula, CA) in a Prep test, on Tuesday, March 19. Providence will attempt to improve on its 7-1 season record. The Dolphins come into the test with a 0-4 record after their 4-3 league loss to Westridge (Pasadena, CA).

The Kares (5-3) will now prepare for their test against Mayfield (Pasadena, CA). The Cubs come into the Prep test with a 8-2 record. In their last test, Mayfield edged Bishop's (La Jolla, CA), 6-2, in a non-league test.
