The Clovis Wildcats (Clovis, NM) baseball got by the host Roswell Coyotes (Roswell, NM), 5-4 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Wildcats now own a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they host Portales for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 18.
With the defeat, Roswell drops to 2-6 on the year. The Coyotes travel to Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM) to clash with the Hilltoppers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 20. The Hilltoppers go into the challenge with a record of 3-2. Los Alamos won 6-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Sandia Prep (Albuquerque, NM)
