California High School Baseball - El Segundo defeats North

March 15, 2025: El Segundo, CA 90245

The El Segundo Eagles baseball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting North Saxons to 1 in the Eagles league win on Saturday.

The Eagles now hold a 8-0 record. They take the field next when they host Redondo Union for a non-league test on Wednesday, March 19. El Segundo will play a Sea Hawks team coming off a 12-4 non-league win over Carson (Carson, CA). The Sea Hawks record now stands at 4-5.

With the defeat, North drops to 3-7 on the year. The Saxons travel to Mary Star of the Sea (San Pedro, CA) to play the Stars in a non-league test on Monday, March 17. The Stars go into the test with a record of 4-5. Mary Star of the Sea won 19-0 in their recent league test against St. Genevieve (Panorama City, CA)
