The Lowry Buckaroos baseball team scored 18 runs and held the host Hug Hawks to 5 in the Buckaroos non-league win on Saturday.

The Buckaroos now hold a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they host Elko for a 3A North - East test on Wednesday, March 19. Lowry will play a Indians team coming off a 11-5 non-league win over North Valleys (Reno, NV). The Indians record now stands at 5-5.

With the defeat, Hug drops to 2-4 on the year. The Hawks host South Tahoe (South Lake Tahoe, CA) to play the Vikings in a 3A North - West test on Wednesday, March 19. The Vikings go into the test with a record of 0-8. South Tahoe lost 10-5 in their recent non-league test against Fernley (Fernley, NV)
