In Saturday's non-league game, the host Luther Lions baseball team scored a close 9-2 victory over the Wellston Tigers.
The Lions (4-2) will now prepare for their game against Rush Springs (Rush Springs, OK). The Redskins enter the non-league game with a 7-6 record. In their last game, Rush Springs was overwhelmed by Dickson (Ardmore, OK), 5-4, in a non-league game.
Next, the Tigers face the Porter Pirates (Porter, OK) in a non-league game, on Thursday, March 20. Wellston will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record.
