California High School Baseball - Valley View edges Poly

The crowd at Saturday's league battle between the Valley View Eagles (Moreno Valley, CA) and the host Poly Bears (Riverside, CA), witnessed Valley View's baseball team knock off Poly by a count of 11-8.

The Eagles now own a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Liberty for a challenge on Tuesday, April 8. Valley View will clash with a Bison team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Beaumont (Beaumont, CA). The Bison record now stands at 1-0.

With the defeat, Poly drops to 2-3 on the year. The Bears travel to Rancho Verde (Moreno Valley, CA) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 17. The Mustangs go into the challenge with a record of 1-4. Rancho Verde lost 14-1 in their recent non-league challenge against King (Riverside, CA)
