Texas High School Softball - Miller defeated by Carroll

The Miller Buccaneers softball squad (Corpus Christi, TX), was routed 13-1 in Saturday's league contest with the visiting Carroll Tigers (Corpus Christi, TX)

With the triumph, Carroll improves its record to 16-2 on the year. The Tigers host Ray (Corpus Christi, TX) to face the Texans in a 5A Region IV District 29 contest on Tuesday, March 18. The Texans enter the contest with a record of 6-12. Ray won 18-8 in their recent league contest against Corpus Christi Moody (Corpus Christi, TX)

The Buccaneers now hold a 7-13 record. They play next when they travel to Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial for a 5A Region IV District 29 contest on Monday, March 17. Miller will face a Eagles squad coming off a 9-0 league win over Carroll (Corpus Christi, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 14-2.
