In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Catawba Ridge Copperheads softball team scored a tight 1-0 win over the James F. Byrnes Rebels.
The Copperheads (11-0) will now prepare for their match against Aynor (Aynor, SC). The Blue Jackets come into the non-league match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, Aynor nipped North Myrtle Beach (Little River, SC), 2-0, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Rebels battle the Palmetto Mustangs (Williamston, SC) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, March 18. James F. Byrnes will attempt to better on its 6-2 season record. The Mustangs come into the match with a 5-5 record after their 9-1 non-league loss to Aynor (Aynor, SC).
