In Tuesday's non-league game, the host Headland Rams baseball team scored a tight 6-1 victory over the Marianna Bulldogs.
The Rams (8-4) will now prepare for their game against Carroll (Ozark, AL). The Eagles go into the 5A Area 3 game with a 5-8 record. In their last game, Carroll tipped Houston County (Columbia, AL), 13-3, in a non-league game.
The Bulldogs (4-5) will now prepare for their game against Cottonwood (Cottonwood, AL). The Bears go into the non-league game with a 4-5 record. In their last game, Cottonwood tipped Samson (Samson, AL), 13-8, in a non-league game.
