The Nevada Union Miners held off the visiting Granite Bay Grizzlies volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Miners now have a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Granite Bay for a non-league test on Saturday, March 19. Nevada Union will confront a Grizzlies team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Nevada Union (Grass Valley, CA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 7-1.
The Grizzlies (7-1) will now prepare for their test against Placer (Auburn, CA). The Hillmen enter the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Placer held off Lincoln (Lincoln, CA), 2-1, in a league test.
