The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Pioneer Patriots (Woodland, CA) and the visiting Woodland Wolves (Woodland, CA), saw Pioneer's volleyball squad beat Woodland by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Pioneer upgrades its record to 1-3 on the year. The Patriots host Mesa Verde (Citrus Heights, CA) to play the Mavericks in a Golden Empire bout on Friday, March 18. The Mavericks go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Mesa Verde lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Casa Roble (Orangevale, CA)

The Wolves now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Dixon for a Golden Empire bout on Friday, March 18. Woodland will play a Rams squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Mira Loma (Sacramento, CA). The Rams record now stands at 4-1.
