In Wednesday's league battle, the host Gray Stone Day Knights soccer squad scored a close 7-0 win over the North Stanly Comets.
The Knights (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Woods Charter (Chapel Hill, NC). The Wolves go into the non-league battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, Woods Charter nipped Triangle Math & Science (Cary, NC), 9-0, in a league battle.
